Featuring a visual sequence editor, LightShowMaster makes creating new lighting sequences fast and easy! Command your lights to turn on/off or fade up/down using one of the 20 different fade speeds. Now that Light Show Master 2.0 supports the PowerLincModem (PLM), you can send up to 20 commands per second in your sequences! Create multiple sequences and have LSM run them together in any order to create a complete lighting show. Light Show Master 2.0 now gives you the flexibility to create the show schedule that fits your needs. Now you can schedule the date and time for any show event, and you can have multiple shows in a single day. You can also schedule your show to run minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or even years at a time! And there is no limit to how many show events you can schedule! A new feature in Light Show Master 2.0 allows you specify an Insteon trigger device that will trigger your show to automatically start playing. Now you can trigger your shows to start up automatically when triggered by the Insteon motion detector! Many audio formats are supported, including MP3, WMV, WAV, MIDI, and any other format supported by Windows Media Player. 
How does it work? First, you start by selecting the media file that you want to play during your light show. Then you decide which Insteon devices you will use in your light show, and what lights will be connected. I like to use INSTEON LampLinc V2 3-Pin modules because they provide full dimmable support and you can easily stack them together. Next, you configure each channel in the sequence by adding the Insteon device ID's for the devices you want that channel to control. You can rename the channel names and change the channel colors for each channel to identify them. Now you're ready to edit your sequence by using the various tools to turn your devices on and off by clicking on the individual cells or blocks of cells. Each column of cells in the sequence represents a time instance. You can vary the sequence tempo allowing you to precisely position your commands at up to 1/58 of a second precision! You can add fades by using the fade-up or the fade-down tools. Finally, you click the play button and watch your lights as the media file plays. Need to adjust something? No problem! Just edit the sequence and click the "play-frame" button to replay just the visible section of the sequence, and keep adjusting until it looks right! Where can I see it in action? How do I get LightShowMaster? You can download it now and try it for yourself in demo mode. Download the trial version here. In demo mode, you will not be able to play more than 1 minute of any sequence and you can not create a show using more than 3 sequences. You are also limited to 16 channels.
